Estão a reparar que estou a partilhar o mesmo livro outra vez, pois na verdade ainda o estou a ler. Comecei a lê-lo cerca de um ano e ainda estou a lê-lo. É um pouco longo e eu já conheço a história através da série televisiva. Só agora é que estou a chegar à parte da história que conheço menos. Faltam-me 182 páginas para acabar. Este livro têm 700 páginas e é sobre a investiação criminal de um homicídio de uma jovem de 19 anos. Se calhar já ouviram falar da série televisiva como o mesmo nome - The Killing (existem duas versões a americana e a dinamarquesa). Eu sei que estamos nos finais de Fevereiro e que ainda estou a fazer agendas de 2016. Esta foi para mim. É uma espécie de pedido personalizado e um protótipo ao mesmo tempo (visto que nunca fotografei nenhuma das versões que já fiz). Estou a experimentá-lo e já tive até algumas ideias para a melhorar. Se estão curiosos é uma agenda A5 de capa mole e a minha parte preferida é que se parece com um caderno normal. If you're wondering about the book in the image, yes I'm still reading it. I started this book about a year ago, and I'm still reading it. It's a very long book, and I already knew the tv show. Only now I'm getting in to the area of the story I remember and know less. But I'm still about 182 pages of finishing the book. The book has 700 pages and i'ts about the crime investigation of 19 year old death. You might have heard about the TV-show with the same name The Killing (there were two versions - American one and a Danish one. I know it's almost the end of February and I'm making the last planners for 2016. This one was for me. And it's kind of a prototype since I never had one to take proper photos and start to have it on the shop. I'm trying it, and already have a few ideas to improve it. If you're curious it's a A5 softcover 2016 planner and it looks like a regular notebook - which is my favourite thing about it. |

| Mais algumas notas sobre protótipos. Estou com vontade experimentar novos modelos e outras maneiras de trabalhar. Este é um dos que estou a experimentar. I've realized that I need to change some of the way that I work. Or maybe it just does part of the never ending search of self improvement. | As últimas semanas foram intensas e tenho lutado um pouco em voltar para uma espécie de horário (problemas de quem trabalha por conta própria). Esta agenda de mochos deve ser a última de 2016. These past two weeks were intense and also a struggle to get back to some sort of schedule. I think I'm done with 2016 planners. The last one that I'm still working on is this owls one. |

| Tenho tentado tirar fotos a estas fitas que uso nas agendas de capa dura. Não são as melhores, mas esta safa-se. Estas as últimas que usei. Adoro a roxa, e a verde com uma combinação de rosa? Linda! I've trying to take proper photos to these ribbons that use on the hardcover planners. It's not the best one, but it's an ok one. These were some of the colours I've recently used. I really love that light purple ribbon, and the green one mixed with pink? it's beautiful! |

| Gosto de ler clássicos. Ler livros que inspiram o que é escrito e filmado nos dias de hoje. Tenho estado a colecionar alguns Clássicos da Penguin em segunda mão. Estes dois são Beowulf: A Verse Translation - é um poema épico de interesse histórico. A acção ocorre entre o século V e o VI na Escandinávia. O segundo é Decameron escrito pelo Giovanni Boccacio. Este livro reune cerca de 100 histórias escritas durante o início da peste negra. I like to read classics. Read those books that have inspired what is writing and film nowadays. I've been collecting some Penguin Classics editions in second hand. These two are Beowulf: A Verse Translation is a poem of historical interest and epic scope. Beowulf s adventures occur in the wide historical canvas of 5th and 6th century Scandinavia. and the second is The Decameron by Giovanni Boccaccio. This book is series of one hundred stories written in the wake of the black plague. |

| Outros clássicos mais recentes (que também recebi por correio) foram estes dois livros do séc. XIX - um russo e outro britânico. Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy. É a história de uma mulher que recusa as convenções sociais, esposa de um burocrata que se apaixona por oficial do exército e deixa a sua família por amor. Great Expectations escrito por Charles Dickens. Eu vi a adaptação para televisão e fiquei fascinada pela história. (às vezes quando encomendo livros em segunda mão acontece não vir com a capa que pedi, este foi um dos casos - a capa que tinha pedido era parecida com a da Anna Karenina. Podia ter reclamado, mas o que eu queria era que fosse uma edição da Penguin, e como até gosto desta edição nem me dei ao trabalho de reclamar.) In more recent classics (that I recently got in the mail) , these two are from the nineteen century, one Russian and another British. Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy. It's the story of a woman who refuses to settle by social conventions, the wife of a bureaucrat who falls in love with an army officer and leaves her family for her lover. Great Expectations by Charles Dickens. I've seen the most recent tv film adaptation and I was fascinated by the story. (this was not the edition that I've order, but since it is in perfect conditions and it's still from Penguin, and not bothered by it.) |

| Há mais de 10 anos atrás apaixonei-me por uma capa de um livro. Esse livro era O Telescópio de Âmbar escrito pelo Philip Pullman. Demorei algum tempo a perceber que afinal aquele livro era o terceiro de uma trilogia, especialmente porque o via sempre sozinho sem os outros dois. Eu não queria ler os outros dois, apenas queria ler aquele. Acabei por ceder e comprei o primeiro em português. Li-o. Foi ok. É um bom livro de ficção, mas tinhas tantas questões ficaram no ar, além disso eu queria era ler livros com acção rápida. E esta trilogia não é assim. Tens que ler com tempo para compreender todos os detalhes. No entanto apesar dessa experiência continuei a ter uma paixão pel' O Telescópio de Âmbar e recentemente decidi voltar a pegar na trilogia. (mais sobre a trilogia na Terça feira). More than 10 years ago I fell in love by a book cover. That book cover was The Amber Spyglass by Philip Pullman. It took me some to actually realise it was the third book of a trilogy, specially because the book was usually alone and without the other two. I didn't want to read the other two, I wanted to read that one. I bite the bullet and bought the first book in portuguese. I read it. At the time it was ok. I mean in terms of fiction was good, but so many things we're answered and at the time I only wanted to read fast paced books. And this trilogy is not like that. You have to take your time to understand all the details. My love and curiosity for The Amber Spyglass continued and recently I decided to give a go to this trilogy again.
