Tenho estado a organizar alguns aspectos da minha vida que precisavam, e por outro lado estive a iniciar algumas coisas que tinha prometido a mim mesma começar. Recordam-se de te ter escrito sobre o medo de começar? O que custa é o primeiro passo.

I have been organizing some aspects of my life that needed, on the other hand I also give those first steps on some things that I had promised myself. Do you remember me writing about the fear of starting? All it takes to start is one first step.

As agendas de capa dura 2017 atrasaram-se um pouco. Depois de imprimir as agendas teste descobri que preciso de fazer-lhes alguns ajustes antes de a imprimir a versão final. É algo de que já estou a tratar. Mas ainda antes disso estive a acabar encomendas que tenho tido das agendas 2016/2017.
Pelo meio surgiu o desafio de criar um padrão com limões, o que me levou a criar novos padrões com frutas. O que significa que os cadernos de receitas vão regressar mais depressa do que tinha programado (o que é uma excelente notícia!!)

The hardcover 2017 planners were delayed a little. After printing a test version I found out that I need to make some adjustments before printing the final version. I'm working on it. But even before that I had to finish some 2016/2017 softcover planners. In the middle I was challenged to create a pattern with lemons, which made me create new pattern with fruits.Which means that the cookbooks will return very soon, and sooner that I had programmed (which is awesome news!!)

Ando em arrumações ao meu quarto à imenso tempo (se vos dizer que é à mais de um ano, não estou a exagerar). Tenho estado a fazer uma limpeza a fundo e a deitar fora coisas que já não fazem sentido guardar ou manter. Já perdi a conta à quantidade de sacos de lixo que enchi e deitei fora. E sinto que ainda não terminei.
A seguir a estas arrumações, a organização do estúdio será o próximo passo. Trabalhar num espaço arrumado, em que cada coisa têm o seu sítio ajuda imenso. E no final do dia é muito mais fácil de arrumar. Nunca fui uma pessoa muito arrumada, mas nos últimos anos tenho estado a aprender que é algo extremamente importante e que ajuda imenso a ser mais produtiva.

I've been organising and cleaning my bedroom for a really long time (if I tell you that it have been more than a year, I won't be exaggerating). I've been cleaning and get rid of many things that don't make any sense to keep or safe anymore. I've already lost the count of garbage bags that I filled and throw away. And I still fill that I haven't finished.
After all this organising and cleaning, the studio will be the next one. Work in a space that is organized, each thing has it's own place, it helps a lot. At the end of the day is also a lot easier to put everything back on it's place. I've never been a very tidy person, but I've been learning in the past years how it's important to have everything organized and that helps me being more productive.

Há uns meses atrás decidi que em Agosto, quando terminasse um projecto, que iria começar um canal no YouTube. Agosto acabou e ainda não tinha gravado nada, nem testado as máquinas. Por isso pus as mãos à obra. O primeiro vídeo foi de um desenho que fiz dos meus favoritos de Agosto e o segundo (e o primeiro com a cara em frente à câmara) foi o das leituras de Agosto. Há muitos aspectos a melhorar - como o tamanho dos videos, os ângulos da câmara, a preparação e criação de um script antes de me pôr a falar em frente à câmara. Até ao momento os três vídeos que tenho no canal foram filmados com máquinas diferentes. Cada uma com as suas limitações. Gostei da experiência e quero torná-la numa experiência regular. Mas gostava de saber a vossa opinião em relação aos videos.

A few months back I decided that in August, as soon as I had finished a project, I would start my YouTube channel. August ended and I hadn't recorded anything, not even had teste the cameras. So I decided it was time to do it. My first video was of a drawing that I did for my August favorites and the second (and first with face in front of the camera) was August reads. That are a lot of aspects that I can improve - has the length of the videos, camera angles, preparation and creating a script before I start talking to the camera. At the moment the three videos I have in my channel were filmed with different cameras. Each one of them with it's own limitations. I like the experience and I want to make it a regular thing. But I also like to know your opinion related to them.
